After his law education, Ayiraga served as a Teaching Assistant in Natural Resources Law and International Law at the University of Ghanaâ€™s Faculty of Law. His professional law career started at Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa, and Mate (Law Firm) Accra, Ghana as Legal Assistant. He later worked with Ansah-Asare & Co (Law Firm) Accra, Ghana. Ayariga also worked as a research assistant at Datacenta Ltd, Accra, Ghana. He was a founding member and served as the Executive Director of Legal Resources Centre (LRC) Accra from 1997 to 2004. LRC aimed at promoting human rights, community development, and social justice.
